Film calculators calculate before you order

This film calculator handles what technologists and buyers convert most often: grammage from microns, roll weight and length, the number of bags per kilogram and the price per kg converted to m² and linear metre. Select the material once and all results recalculate automatically. The tool is useful when selecting NEX-LAM lamination films, NEX-SHRINK shrink film and NEX-BAG industrial bag films, and when comparing offers from different suppliers. Results are indicative: the parameters for an order are confirmed by the technical data sheet and the Kablonex technologist. Printed packaging? Check the repeat, number of designs and the press in the flexo print feasibility configurator, and the file requirements in the file preparation guidelines.

D = 400 mm d = 96 mm t = 40 µm L = π(D² − d²) / 4t = 2,961 m · 109 kg LDPE
g/cm³

* Densities are typical values for the given polymer. For blends, regranulate and masterbatches (e.g. white with TiO₂) enter the density from the technical data sheet.

Result different from the line? We will recalculate it together.

* Default values are typical for the industry (polymer densities, 76 mm core with a 10 mm wall). You can always enter your own. Results are indicative. The calculations are theoretical: they do not account for thickness tolerance, web tension and air in the winding, or start-up waste. For an order, the parameters in the technical data sheet and the Kablonex order confirmation apply.
