Turn film waste into valuable raw material

We collect post-production film from your line, reprocess it on our own POD ECO line and issue a certificate stating the kilograms for your ESG report.

Today

Post-production film costs you three times

Once when you buy it, again when you dispose of it, and a third time in the tender where you had no proof of circularity.

  1. “We pay for the film, then we pay someone to take it away.”Trim, start-up scrap and line waste go to disposal. Material you paid for leaves the loop, and the waste collection line in your budget grows every year.
  2. “Our customer wants circularity data for the audit.”Supplier questionnaires, audits and ESG criteria in tenders. Without figures in kilograms you lose points or answer in generalities.
  3. “‘We are sustainable’ no longer convinces anyone.”Buyers ask for a document, not a slide. A claim without data is now a greenwashing risk, not a selling point.

How the material comes back

From your line to ours and back

The whole process takes place at Kablonex, under the control of one manufacturer. We do not pass the waste on to anyone else.

Collection volume = film purchased × waste share. One collection = annual volume ÷ number of collections. We confirm material eligibility in stage 1.

FAQ

What purchasing asks before signing

Does the programme cover any film or only film bought from Kablonex?

The programme is designed for Kablonex film, because that gives full traceability of the material and a closed loop. We assess other PE/PP fractions individually, including through our POD ECO regranulation service.

What requirements must the waste meet?

You receive full instructions in stage 1: film type, permitted contamination, baling method and fractions. Everything is in the guidelines we hand over before you sign the declaration.

Is collection free of charge?

That depends on the volume and the distance between your plant and Kablonex. We give you the terms after the first conversation, and we always take care of organising the collection, the paperwork and accepting the material.

Is the certificate useful for ESG reporting?

The certificate states the quantity of recovered material in kilograms, the reporting period and a unique identifier, so you can include it in your sustainability report, supplier questionnaires and customer audits.

How soon can we start?

We agree the schedule together after the first conversation. The first collection and certificate depend on your order cycle, and new customers can join the programme with their first film order.

We already have another recycling scheme. Is that a conflict?

Closed Loop can run in parallel, because it covers one specific material stream: Kablonex film. We help you set it up so that it does not conflict with your existing commitments.
