NEX-BAG FFS – Packaging Process Stability

Our FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) film is designed for the following applications:

• pellets
• coal
• technical granulate

3-Layer Coex Structure – Function Control

We produce film with a 3-layer structure (5-layer option available for higher requirements):

• Inner layer – optimized for fast and tight sealing (stable hot-tack, low temperature initiation)
• Core layer – responsible for load-bearing capacity and stretch control
• Outer layer – puncture resistance, COF control, resistance to friction between bags

Result:

• fewer sleeve breakages
• fewer complaints due to broken bags
• stable machine cycle at maximum speed

Controlled Coefficient of Friction (COF)

In pellets, the balance is crucial:

• too low COF → pallets “shift” during transport
• too high COF → problems at the forming collar and increased resistance

We select slip/antiblock additives based on:

• specific FFS machine type
• palletization method
• storage conditions

This is not a parameter “from a table”. It is a process parameter.

Flexo CI Printing – Readability and Durability in Harsh Conditions

We offer up to 10-color printing using CI (Central Impression) technology.

In practice, for pellets, this means:

• stable registration even with thick films (80–150 μm)
• readable EAN codes even when dusty
• pigment resistance to UV and semi-open storage
