What goes wrong in construction chemicals

A bag filled with a dusty product holds air: the pallet is uneven, bags slide and burst in transit, and the filling cycle gets longer because the machine waits for de-aeration. The second problem: moisture. Mortar or adhesive sets in the bag after a few months in the distributor’s yard, and the complaint goes to the producer. The third: film cost per bag at millions of units a year, where every micron of thickness is real money, but going too low means punctures.

What we measure instead of price per kg

Film cost per bag, the number of moisture complaints per million bags, the number of damaged bags per pallet after transport and the filling cycle time. We calculate downgauging together with puncture resistance, never separately.

Who we are for, and who we are not

For producers packing on FFS machines from approx. 5 tonnes of film a year upwards; at smaller volumes a formulation cannot sensibly be designed for the line. We know the seasonality: orders are planned ahead of the construction peak, with a framework contract option.
