11. Packaging foil for general use.
The foil are used in nearly every industrial branch. It is used in food industry, building, furniture and others. Packaging foil is used for covering products. It protects them against water, dust and other unfavourable conditions.
The foil is produced as sleeves, half-sleeves and tapes. The foil can be manufactured with variety of additions which can improve its parameters:
- Stupor – decreases film’s gliding
- Skid – increases film’s gliding
- UV filter – protection against sun
- Antistatic – discharges electrostatic charges
- Dye – film in all colours
